Provost's College Award for Outstanding Teaching

Congratulations to James Nolan, recipient of the Provost’s College Award for Outstanding Teaching. The Provost's Awards recognize outstanding teaching in each college, as well the categories of Aboriginal education, international teaching, innovation in learning, new teachers, graduate teaching and graduate student teachers.

James Nolan is a professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics in the College of Agriculture and Bioresources.

“My teaching goal is simply to make every effort to convey intellectual excitement to the students about the material being taught. I continually try to challenge students to understand what in particular makes our discipline (agriculture and resource economics) so dynamic and exciting with respect to their lives.” - James Nolan
